Performs diagnostic evaluation and repair of all vehicle systems. Performs certification level testing of all vehicle systems or components. Performs Pennsylvania State Inspection.

Essential Functions

• Diagnoses, evaluates and repairs all Rail Vehicle systems as detected by Operator, Inspection or other means. • Performs Rail vehicle Certification, as required. • Maintains all documentation required for maintenance or legal purposes. • Performs Pennsylvania State Inspection per approved procedures. • Performs campaign style maintenance, as directed.

Job Requirements

• Must have successfully passed the appropriate aptitude tests to bid this position.* • Must have completed the apprentice program for Rail Technician B.** • Must complete the apprentice training requirements for this position. • Must possess a Class “C” PA Driver’s License.
