Pittsburgh Regional Transit is seeking a Technician B to do maintenance inspection, repair and/or overhaul of Rail Vehicle systems as required by maintenance manuals or local instructions.

Essential Functions

• Performs inspections as scheduled. • Performs special subsystem preventative maintenance as scheduled. • Performs diagnostics of non-functional systems as required. • Performs removal/installation of vehicle components as required. • Performs equipment repairs as required. • Performs vehicle certification as required.

Job Requirements

• Must have successfully passed the appropriate aptitude tests to bid this position.* • Must complete the apprentice training requirements for this position. • Must possess a Class “C” PA Driver’s License
